Cashback Rewards Programme General Terms & Conditions (EU)

These General Terms and Conditions (“General T&Cs”) govern TransferGo’s Cashback Rewards Programme (the “Programme”) and apply to all cashback campaigns run by UAB TransferGo Lithuania (“TransferGo”, “we”, “us”) for customers holding a TransferGo account registered under UAB TransferGo Lithuania’s EU licence, whether the campaign is based on individual transactions (such as remittance transfers) or on an ongoing subscription or other qualifying product, unless superseded by specific campaign terms published at the time of each promotion. By participating in a cashback campaign, you agree to be bound by these General T&Cs and any applicable campaign-specific terms.

Programme eligibility

The Programme is open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age and hold a registered TransferGo account in good standing under UAB TransferGo Lithuania’s EU licence. Eligibility is determined by reference to the criteria set out in these General T&Cs and the applicable campaign terms. Some campaigns are conditional on you holding an active subscription, product, or other qualifying status specified in the campaign terms, in addition to or instead of the transaction-based criteria in these General T&Cs; the applicable campaign terms will specify any such requirement and its effect on your ongoing eligibility. TransferGo may exclude a user from the Programme where it reasonably believes the criteria are not met or where exclusion is necessary to comply with applicable law or regulatory requirements. Where practicable, TransferGo will notify the affected user and provide an opportunity to query the decision via customer support.

Qualifying transactions

To earn a cashback reward under any campaign, a transaction must meet all of the following conditions at the time it is completed:

(a) the transfer must be sent from an eligible sending country to the receiving country specified in the applicable campaign terms;

(b) the send amount must equal or exceed the minimum send amount stated in the campaign terms, denominated in the settlement currency specified in the campaign terms;

(c) where specified, the transaction must use the pay-in method and/or pay-out method stated in the campaign terms;

(d) where specified, the transaction must be funded from the payment method or account balance stated in the campaign terms (for example, a specific currency wallet); transactions funded from any other source will not qualify; and

(e) no promotional code may be applied to the transaction. Transactions that include a promotional code are excluded from the Programme and will not earn cashback rewards.

Failed, cancelled, refunded, or reversed transfers are not eligible for cashback rewards. Eligibility is assessed after the transaction has been successfully completed.

Cashback reward

Cashback rewards are calculated as specified in the applicable campaign terms, which will state whether the reward is a flat fixed amount or a percentage of the sent amount. The reward type and value applicable to any given campaign will be clearly communicated at the time of the promotion. One eligible transaction earns one cashback reward. Campaign terms may specify a maximum number of rewards per user, a maximum monetary amount of cashback that may accrue or be earned per user within a given period (for example, a monthly cap), or both. In the absence of a limit specified in the campaign terms, there is no per-user limit on the number of rewards that may be earned, subject always to the total campaign budget.

Payout and settlement

Cashback rewards are paid out either (a) instantly, credited to your TransferGo wallet upon successful completion of an eligible transaction, or (b) on an accrual basis, where cashback earned on qualifying activity during a defined accrual period is calculated, subject to any applicable cap, and paid out as a lump sum on a date specified in the campaign terms (for example, the first calendar day of the following month). The applicable payout model, accrual period, and payout timing will be specified in the campaign terms. Where an accrual model applies, a qualifying transaction may pass through pending, confirmed, and earned stages before the corresponding cashback is paid, as described in the campaign terms. Cashback rewards are denominated and settled in the currency specified in the campaign terms, which may be the currency of a specific wallet held with TransferGo and need not match the currency of the underlying transaction or the default settlement currency otherwise referenced in these General T&Cs.

Campaign budget and availability

Each cashback campaign operates under a fixed total budget. Once the total budget for a campaign is exhausted, no further rewards will be paid out for that campaign, even if the campaign end date has not yet been reached. TransferGo will endeavour to communicate when a campaign budget has been exhausted but is under no obligation to do so. Cashback rewards are subject to availability. Where practicable, promotional communications for the campaign will clearly state that rewards are limited and subject to budget availability.

Campaign duration

Each campaign runs for the period specified in the applicable campaign terms. Transactions completed outside of the stated campaign window are not eligible for cashback rewards, regardless of when the transfer was initiated.

Programme integrity and abuse

TransferGo reserves the right to withhold, cancel, or reclaim cashback rewards if it suspects fraud, abuse, or manipulation of the Programme, including but not limited to: the use of multiple accounts, collusion, automated transaction patterns, cancellations or refunds made after cashback has been credited, or any other conduct inconsistent with the spirit of the Programme. TransferGo will act reasonably and in good faith in making this determination. Users who believe a reward has been wrongly withheld, cancelled, or reclaimed may request a review by contacting TransferGo customer support within 30 days of the decision. Users found to have abused the Programme may be permanently excluded and may have their accounts suspended or closed in accordance with TransferGo’s general Terms and Conditions.

Combination with other offers

Cashback rewards under the Programme cannot be combined with any promotional code or other discount offer. Applying a promotional code to a transaction renders that transaction ineligible for cashback under the Programme.

Subscription and product-linked campaigns

Where a campaign’s eligibility is linked to an active subscription, product, or other ongoing status, cancellation or lapse of that subscription or product does not automatically terminate your right to cashback already earned or accrued at the date of cancellation. The applicable campaign terms will specify: (a) whether and for how long cashback continues to accrue following cancellation (for example, until the end of your current billing or trial period); and (b) the treatment of any cashback that has not yet been earned or paid at the point accrual stops. Except as otherwise stated in the campaign terms, cashback earned before the date accrual stops remains payable on the normal payout schedule for that campaign.

Modifications and termination

TransferGo reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Programme or any individual campaign. TransferGo will provide notice where reasonably practicable, except where immediate action is required to prevent fraud, abuse, or a breach of applicable law. Changes will apply prospectively to transactions completed after the change takes effect; rewards already earned under the terms in force at the time of an eligible transaction will not be reduced or revoked as a result of a later change. Continued use of your TransferGo account after a non-adverse change constitutes acceptance of that change.

General

These General T&Cs are supplemental to and should be read alongside TransferGo’s main Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, which continue to apply in full. In the event of any conflict between these General T&Cs and campaign-specific terms, the campaign-specific terms shall prevail. These General T&Cs are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes arising in connection with the Programme shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Lithuania. Nothing in this clause deprives you, as a consumer, of the protection afforded by any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident, or of your right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country, where applicable.
