What is a SWIFT/BIC code?

A SWIFT code (also called a BIC) is a unique identifier for banks worldwide. It ensures your money reaches the right bank when you send international transfers.

These codes are used in international wire transfers, SEPA payments, and cross-border transactions. Without them, payments could be delayed or misdirected.

Think of it as the “address” of your bank in the global financial network.

How is a
SWIFT/BIC code formatted?

A SWIFT/BIC code is 8–11 characters long and
identifies the bank, country, location, and branch.

I’ve been using their service for over 6 years, back when not many people even knew about them. They are reliable and trustworthy. I’ve never had a moment where I felt like I shouldn’t trust them with my money. Customer service is fast and reliable too. Of course, there are a few bad apples sometimes, but KLAUDIA is an angel. She responds almost immediately, always respectfully, understands customers’ complaints, and genuinely tries her best to solve problems. They’re really lucky to have her there. PS: Dear TRANSFERGO, I’ve probably gone through at least 100 verifications over the years. Please stop reviewing almost every single transfer. And as a loyal customer,I still don’t have my card yet(Not a complaint, but it doesn’t feel very fair)
