TransferGo is a growing fintech scale-up on a mission to make the world a fairer place for migrants. We strive to provide tailored, more affordable financial services that make people's hard-earned money go further. Now in our 13th year, with close to 400 employees in offices across Europe and the UK, we’re crafting a brilliant, relevant product that makes a difference in people's lives and the well-being of their families.

We’ve come this far by building a talented, diverse workforce on a fair culture and our strong values. Having this strong team of employees, we can serve those who really need our product to make their lives better.

Join us on our journey as Head of Corporate Development and play a pivotal role in shaping how money is sent worldwide. You’ll lead strategic growth initiatives, support fundraising and M&A activities, and help drive long-term value for the business. If you’re passionate about fintech, experienced in corporate strategy and transactions, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we’d love to have you on board.

Here’s what you’ll be doing as Head of Corporate Development:

  • Providing strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights to senior leadership
  • Proactively seek and cultivate strategic partnerships to enhance the company’s market position, capabilities, or offerings
  • Researching and assessing potential acquisition targets, including valuations and strategic fit
  • Help maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and other financial stakeholders.
  • Contribute to fundraising activities, including pitch decks and roadshow preparation.
  • Partnering with external advisors and bankers on potential fundraising, M&A, debt, and equity transactions
  • Driving cross-functional initiatives that align with the company’s long-term vision
  • Presenting insights, models, and recommendations in a clear, compelling manner to C-level executives and the board

You’ll report to our Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Here’s what we’d love from our new Head of Corporate Development:

  • Experience with capital raising, mergers & acquisitions, valuations and investor relations
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills to evaluate deals and partnerships
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to identify non-obvious opportunities.
  • MBA or similar advanced qualification

And if you can also do this stuff, even better:

  • Experience in fintech, payments or tech environments
  • Extensive network across the Financial Services/Fintech space in Europe and beyond
  • Experience or familiarity with fundraising activities and due diligence processes
